Getting Started!
To get started, there are a few simple things you have to do.
Selecting a layout or theme concept for your website is incredibly important. Bright Designs uses WordPress as a Content Management System (CMS), and within WordPress, we use either DIVI or WP-Bakery to design the site. Below are links to theme options that are available for you to choose from:
Bright Designs will set up an online folder for you to easily load up images, PDF’s, Word Documents related to your website project. When considering images, please load the best quality images that you can find. Your web designer will resize the images to the size needed for the website.
You will also be asked to provide 4-5 short paragraphs of text about your business, how it started and why potential clients should choose and trust your business. A short paragraph for each service line will also be required.
Once everything is uploaded to this folder, your web designer will begin the process of designing your website.
A great logo is essential for any business. For just $35, we’ll provide you with two basic logo designs to choose from.
Prefer a premium logo? We can connect you with talented graphic designers who specialize in creating custom, high-quality designs. Just ask your agent for a list of trusted options tailored to your needs.
Maintenance is or prime importance to your website. Regular updates to your website, will do a great deal towards preventing malware infections.
Malware, or “malicious software,” is an umbrella term that describes any malicious program or code that is harmful to systems.
Hostile, intrusive, and intentionally nasty, malware seeks to invade, damage, or disable computers, computer systems, networks, tablets, and mobile devices, often by taking partial control over a device’s operations.
Malware can be about making money off you, sabotaging your ability to get work done, making a political statement, or just bragging rights. Although malware cannot damage the physical hardware of systems or network equipment for the most part, it can steal, encrypt, or delete your data, alter or hijack core computer functions, and spy on your computer activity without your knowledge or permission.

- All subscriptions include basic malware monitoring, monthly plugin updates, and daily backups via hosting.
- Subscriptions are billed and charged monthly on the credit or debit card on file.
- Subscriptions are for a minimum of 6 months. Any subscriptions cancelled before 6 months will be charged for the outstanding period.
- Subscriptions have to use Bright Designs Hosting which is supplied by WP-Engine, one of the best WordPress hosting options available.
- Clients are able to post and edit blog entries and complete basic edits to the website. Any challenges caused by client edits, can be resolved by Bright Designs at a fee of $45 per hour.
- Any major design changes, have to be completed by Bright Designs developers and will be charged for based on an agreed amount by the client at a rate of $45 per hour.
